National Library of Medicine (NLM) Information Technology Support Services

At the National Library of Medicine (NLM), CSC provides IT support services as well as development expertise for the Digital Repository initiative, which provides access to and preservation of digital content to support the building of NLM's collection in the digital environment. As part of the contract, provides secure distributed network/desktop computing support and enables access to NLM's extensive public facing Web servers housing highly technical medical information to support a worldwide user community. The project captures our work installing, managing, and supporting commercial and open source hardware/software and designing, installing, managing, and supporting networks, information security engineering, system C&A, application development, DR/COOP services, and contract management. CSC also maintains network connectivity with the broader NIH community and enables Internet access for library staff.
