NCI CBIIT Program Management Support

Booz Allen has been providing PMO support to the caBIG® Program nearly since its inception in 2003, and has worked closely to foster a collaborative community of clinicians, researchers, informatists and other key contributors to the translational research continuum. Through facilitated exchanges of best practices, solicitation of key biomedical informatics functional requirements and the development of relationships with domain subject matter experts in the academic community, the Booz Allen team has worked closely with NCI to develop a suite of tools and information network that accelerate the discovery of new approaches for the detection, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer. The objectives of this latest PMO activity are to provide program management support services required to ensure efficient and effective operations of NCI programs managed by the CBIIT.
