Since 2002, AMDEX Corporation (AMDEX) has partnered with NIH/CIT/CBEL as a Prime contractor to provide rapid software application design and implementation services in support of the NIH TELESYNERGY® system. We insure that new diagnostic medical instruments are being utilized by healthcare providers were successfully integrated into the system. The TELESYNERGY® system is a multimedia, medical-imaging and collaboration system, which is currently accessed by more than 26 NIH-partner hospitals and other institutions worldwide, that can transmit simultaneous, high-resolution displays of medical images and link participants in a video conference. Our responsibilities included, but are not limited to analysis of functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities; development of block diagrams and logic charts; translation of detailed design into computer software; testing, debugging and refining of computer software to produce the required product; preparation of required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation; and enhancement of software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
