Support the FISH Lab computer image acquisition systems. Provide systems administration services for a UNIX and Windows 2008 server and SAN multi-platform file server running AppleTalk, PC, and FTP. Administer the OS9 operating system used to run AICGH, as well as MacX2.0 and UNIX operating systems by monitoring network performance and usage, troubleshooting problems, and backing up the systems. Support the design of the UNIX/SQL database architecture, including writing SQL scripts to generate statistics from information in the Softpath Laboratory Information System. Support ASI SkyImage and SkyView in addition to Leica’s QFish.
