Standards and Interoperability Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN) Architecture Refinement and Management

Refine and manage the NHIN architecture, which is a specific network architecture that realizes health information interoperability specifications based on open standards. Provide strategic, technical, and programmatic advice to the ONC in the areas of health information technology interoperability protocols, architectural patterns, infrastructure, and operational considerations. Provide assistance in eliciting, prioritizing, and establishing architectural requirements, along with analysis, design, and guidance. Manage, plan, and develop architectural activities. Coordinate multiple stakeholders, community and governance groups associated with NHIN.
