Supporting Customers Through the Next Chapter
For more than 30 years, NITAAC has served as a trusted acquisition partner to the federal government, helping agencies acquire the technology solutions they need to fulfill critical missions.
Throughout our history, NITAAC has supported agencies across the federal government with innovative acquisition solutions, exceptional customer service, and a commitment to acquisition excellence. Together with our federal customers and industry partners, we have helped deliver technology capabilities that support healthcare, national security, scientific research, public safety, and countless other mission priorities to almost every agency in the federal government.
We understand that mission-critical requirements can’t wait months for an acquisition to move forward, so we made speed, service, and accountability hallmarks of our approach. But that’s not all we did.
Together, we processed more than $60 billion in contract obligations, served every Cabinet-level department, and awarded more than 10,000 task orders to help agencies deliver on missions that impact the lives of millions of Americans every day.
None of that work was in vain; however, we have reached a point where we must start a new chapter in GWAC acquisitions. I'll be honest, this isn't the chapter I expected to be writing when I joined NITAAC five years ago; however, CIO-CS, CIO-SP3, and CIO-SP3 Small Business will reach their contract sunset on October 29, 2026. While this marks the conclusion of an important chapter, our focus remains on supporting customers and industry partners through a successful transition and ensuring continuity through the end of contract performance on December 31, 2028.
Here is my promise to you:
We are not going to disappear. We are not going to stop answering the phone. We are not going to stop supporting your mission. Until the very last task order is complete, our team will continue showing up every day with the same level of dedication and service that has defined NITAAC for more than 30 years.
More importantly, we’ll get through this transition together. Over the next few months, be on the lookout for details about webinars, customer briefings, office hours, and more. My job is to help you navigate this process with confidence, and you can rest assured I will do just that.
Although the NITAAC Nation as we know it is coming to an end, the lessons learned from our 30 years of GWAC excellence will continue to benefit the federal acquisition community for years to come.
When I look at what this team, our customers, and our contract holders have accomplished together, I couldn't be prouder, and I am committed to ensuring that this transition reflects the same professionalism, excellence, and dedication that have defined NITAAC throughout its history.
Over the next few months, NITAAC will be reaching out directly with next steps and posting helpful information on our website (nitaac.nih.gov) and via our LinkedIn channel. If you aren’t already following us, please make plans to do so https://www.linkedin.com/company/nitaac.
Thank you for your partnership, support, and trust.
