Smartronix has been at the forefront of cloud technologies (since 2009), providing secure and scalable Microsoft workloads in the public cloud. Since the Government started moving to the cloud, most clients desired SharePoint and Exchange implementations that were tied into their enterprise security, identity access, and management systems, specifically Active Directory. With our long-standing Microsoft partnership and combined expertise, Smartronix developed the reference architecture for Exchange and SharePoint in the Cloud (as far back as 2011) and has continued to implement the most advanced, ‘best-fit’ technology solutions for our customers.

Within the last few years, the landscape has changed and matured rapidly with the Department of Defense creating the Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) to extend its enterprise into cloud-based resources and host sensitive and mission-critical workloads. Smartronix was again at the forefront of those secure cloud efforts by developing a DoD-accredited Cloud Assured Managed Services (CAMS) offering for Navy and DOD customers under a NITAAC contract. We are currently working with several Air Force clients who are developing similar architectures using Microsoft Azure to support personnel worldwide and host workloads at the highest unclassified sensitivity.
